After your Exchange, you should let your Exchange Partner know you arrived safely at your Home.

It is a common courtesy and a nice way to bring closure to your Exchange experience.

You can communicate via text or make a quick phone call. During the contact, you should reiterate your openness to be contacted in the future especially if your Exchange Partner finds something wrong with the Home since your stay.

Remaining open and being available is another courtesy you can afford your Exchange Partner.
